An ornate sterling silver bonbon server by Gorham featuring a pierced bowl with a lion mask and putti. The cast handle depicts a winged mermaid with a floral rose finial. The reverse is stamped with a lion passant, an anchor, a Gothic G,STERLING, and the pattern number 592. This piece is monogrammed. It measures 6 inches in length and weighs 1.750 OZT. The server is in very good antique condition with no visible breaks to the intricate piercing (photo 3). Minor surface scratches and expected tarnish are present within the deep recesses of the design (photos 1, 6).
