A pair of sterling silver bon bon spoons featuring intricate pierced shell-form bowls. One spoon from Blackinton Co. displays a handle set with four green glass or genuine stones (untested), while the other features a poppy floral motif and is monogrammed. The reverse of each handle is impressed STERLING with a small initial or rectangular mark. Each spoon measures 4.75 inches long and weighs 0.905 OZT. Both spoons exhibit expected tarnish in recessed areas (photos 4 and 5). The set stones remain intact, and the surface shows minor scratches consistent with age and use (photo 1).
