A standout postcard documents Berlin awaiting the arrival of the Olympic torch relay runner at the Lustgarten on August 1, 1936. Another identifies Pariser Platz and the Brandenburg Gate decorated for the Olympics. Several cards are marked "Echte Photographie/Fotografie," with period German publisher and pricing information.
