Produced by Carl Zeiss in Jena, Germany, this 6x24 "Telexem" center-focus binocular features upper prism cover plate stampings reading "CARL ZEISS JENA" on the left plate, and "TELEXEM", serial number "1303520", and "6x24" on the right plate. A "GERMANY" export stamping is present on the central hinge cap, and the unit comes fitted with a leather neck strap. The binoculars measure 4 inches high by 6 inches wide (10.2 cm H x 15.2 cm W) and weigh 548 grams (1 lb 3.3 oz). Constructed with metal frame elements, a central focusing wheel, and textured body coverings, the unit maintains smooth central hinge pivot action, a smooth central focus wheel, and smooth right diopter focus adjustment. Optical glass condition is clear across both channels, offering clear viewing performance with no functional defects. All finishes and pebble-textured body wraps are factory original, exhibiting light, age-appropriate wear and minor edge rubbing.
