Manufactured by Voigtländer & Sohn in Braunschweig, Germany, this vintage 6x21 center-focus binocular displays upper prism cover plate stampings reading "Voigtländer BRAUNSCHWEIG" and serial number "Nº 32454" on the left plate, with "6x21" stamped above. The binoculars measure 4 inches high by 6 inches wide (10.2 cm H x 15.2 cm W) and weigh 427 grams (15.1 oz). The accompanying fitted black textured leather hard case measures 5 inches high by 6 inches wide (12.7 cm H x 15.2 cm W). Constructed with metal frame elements, a central focusing wheel, and pebble-textured body coverings, the unit maintains smooth central hinge pivot action, a smooth central focus wheel, and smooth right diopter focus adjustment. Optical glass condition is clear across both channels, offering clear viewing performance with no functional defects. The pebble-textured body coverings have been repainted, and touch-up paint is present along sections of the metal frame. The weathered leather case features a functional leather latch strap, dual rear belt loop attachments, and a velvet-lined interior showing wear, with the interior lid lining detached.
