Manufactured by Carl Zeiss in Jena, Germany, this 7x50 "Binoctar" individual-focus binocular features upper prism cover plate stampings displaying the framed "CARL ZEISS JENA" logo on the left plate and "BINOCTAR 7x50" on the right plate. Serial number "1762085" is stamped on the lower central hinge pivot cap. The binoculars measure 6.75 inches high by 8 inches wide (17.1 cm H x 20.3 cm W) and weigh 834 grams (1 lb 13.4 oz). Constructed with metal frame elements, individual focus diopters, and textured body coverings, the unit maintains smooth central hinge pivot action and smooth focusing on both diopters. Optical glass condition is clear across both channels with minor dust spotting on both sides, providing clear overall viewing performance with no functional defects. All finishes and pebble-texture wraps are factory original, showing minor touch-up paint work on sections of the metal frame.
