Featuring German optical design, this Carl Zeiss Jena Deltrintem 8x30 binocular set displays the boxed "CARL ZEISS JENA" logo on the left prism plate and "DELTRINTEM" with serial number 1183924 and "8 x 30" on the right. The upper hinge cap is stamped "Germany." These binoculars are constructed with a metal body, textured vulcanite wrap, side strap loops, and fitted with a central focus wheel plus individual right diopter adjustment. Measurements are 4.25 inches high by 6.75 inches wide (10.8 cmH x 17.1 cm W) and weigh 632 grams (1 lb 6.3 oz). Mechanical controls remain smooth, and optics are clear with defect-free viewing. Finishes are original and unrestored, with a small cosmetic paint touch-up on the right upper prism cap and light edge wear. The set includes a brown hard-leather case measuring 5.25 inches high by 6.25 inches wide (13.3 cm H x 15.9 cm W), inner rim stamped "CARL ZEISS JENA" emblem, with metal studs and functional, though loose-fitting, front stud-latch strap, missing its shoulder strap.
