Dating to World War II, this German Rundblickfernrohr 36 (Rbl.F. 36) panoramic periscope sight was used on field artillery and anti-tank guns. Head stampings include "Rbl.F. 36 1°", serial "10047", code "eso" (Rodenstock), and cold-climate mark "+".The dovetail mount is stamped "flm 6027" and the lower arm "313". Finished in original Dunkelgelb tan paint with a red collar ring, it includes an olive-drab steel chest stenciled "Rbl.F. 36" with fitted wood blocks, felt, straps, and canvas handle. The optic measures 9.5" H x 5.25" L (24.1 x 13.3 cm). The case measures 4.5" H x 10" W x 7" D (11.4 x 25.4 x 17.8 cm). Micrometer dials, levelling vials, and adjustment knobs operate smoothly. Optics remain clear with functional reticle scales visible. The sight's factory tan paint shows light edge wear and minor paint loss. The steel chest retains its factory paint with light rust, surface patina, and wear to the handle.
