1933 Der Weltkrieg Propaganda Cigarette Album

Manufactured by Cigaretten-Bilderdienst Dresden in 1933, this original collectible cigarette card album is titled Der Weltkrieg. Bound in bright red paper wrappers with a stylized title and globe motif on the front cover, the album features a color world map on the rear showing naval operations, U-boat zones, and battle sites. The interior text is printed in German Fraktur accompanied by full-page printed color maps of the European fronts and tipped-in color photo card plates illustrating trenchwarfare, heavy artillery, Alpine patrols, and gas defense equipment. The album measures 13.8 x 10.4 inches. Condition is consistent with age and typical handling. The softcover paper covers show edge wear, spine creasing, and light corner scuffing.Interior pages are clean, securely bound, and complete with all photo plates present and light marginal paper toning.
