Published jointly in 1934 by cigarette manufacturers Eckstein-Halpaus, Waldorf-Astoria, and Haus Neuerburg, this original collectible cigarette card album is titled Die Nachkriegszeit: Historische Bilddokumente 1918–1934. Bound in bright orange cloth-backed paper wrappers featuring a graphic globe and magnifying glass motif on the cover, the volume presents a pictorial history of interwar Germany from the end of World War I through 1934. The interior contains German text along with numerous tipped-in color and monochrome photo cards depicting the French occupation of the Ruhr, early Weimar unrest, global aviation events, international diplomacy, and early 1930s political rallies. The album measures 14 x 11.5 inches and is incomplete. Most pages are missing 1-2 photos. Condition is consistent with age and light handling. The outer covers display mild edge rubbing, light corner wear, and faint surface smudging along the margins. Interior pages remain firmly bound and clean with intact photo plates and minor, expected paper toning.
