WWII German WHW City Gate Ornaments & Tag (4)

This lot features three molded plastic street-donation ornaments alongside one printed cardboard tag issued during World War II for the German Winterhilfswerk (WHW — Winter Relief Organization) campaign series titled "German City Gates" (Deutsche Stadttore). The three 3D ornaments—depicting Soest Osthofentor, Xanten Klever Tor, and Iphofen Rödelseer Tor—are constructed from molded plastic painted in a metallic silver-toned finish with a dark antiqued wash, featuring embossed location names across their bases and hollow-molded backs. The fourth piece is a printed arch-shaped cardboard paper token depicting Prag Brückentor in brown and cream. Ranging from 1.25 to 1.75 inches in height, all four pieces retain their original string hanging loops and show period-appropriate age toning, light edge rubbing, and mild wear to the cords.
