Dating to World War II, this pair of hand-painted, hollow-molded plastic pins depicts a postal carrier in a blue uniform holding an envelope and mailbag alongside a police or public-service officer in a gray uniform. Issued as Winterhilfswerk (WHW) donation tokens, these pieces belong to a street campaign series depicting various civil and military professions. Both figures stand 2 inches tall with no visible maker's marks. Each is missing its reverse pin hardware, leaving exposed circular mold openings. Condition includes scattered paint loss, light surface scratches, soiling, discoloration, and oxidation to the remaining metal mounting plate on the postal carrier pin.
