This is a bound hardcover volume of Die Woche, a noted German illustrated magazine published in Berlin. The volume encompasses Issue No. 40 from October 7, 1905 (Year 7) -- Issue No. 52 from December 30, 1905. Pages are extensively illustrated and cover news, high-society figures, cultural commentary, and comprehensive photographic features on 1905 European women's fashion and contemporary lifestyles. The binding consists of marbled paper boards and a black cloth spine, measuring 10.25 x 8.25. On the front endpaper is a handwritten ink inscription addressed to "Mr. Richard Fenner, San Francisco, 1322 Masonic Ave., California," dated January 21, 1906. Covers show visible rubbing, edge wear, and bumped corners, while the internal pages display light age toning but remain clean.
