Olive green canvas bread bag produced during the Third Reich period (1933-1945). The bag features a single main compartment with an internal pocket. Two leather-reinforced loops and metal hardware are visible, with one top loop heavily frayed and partially detached. The canvas exhibits minor fading, and the hardware shows signs of oxidation. The interior pocket bears the handwritten marking D.106.A., indicating a soldier's identification. The bag measures 11" by 11". This model was the standard-issue mid-war infantry ration bag, serving as a functional component of the combat field kit for German forces. The construction features stitched canvas secured with leather and hardware, reflecting typical military field gear design of the era.
