A WWII German military canvas field clothing and gear bag (Bekleidungsbeutel) measuring 14.0" x 12.0". Constructed from heavy olive-green canvas, this bag features a fold-over top closure flap secured by dual leather straps with metal prong buckles,a top leather carry handle, and a main compartment with an interior cloth divider flap. The rear canvas panel features period handwritten soldier personalization in ink reading "Fw. Leonhardi" (Feldwebel Leonhardi). Condition shows significant fieldwear, including heavy surface soiling, scuffing and finish loss to the leather components, period darning repairs, and several small snags and holes throughout the canvas body.
