An original pair of Third Reich paper pamphlets measuring 8.25" x 5.75". The first, "Richtlinien über die Mitgliedschaft zur Deutschen Arbeitsfront" (DAF, 1934), issued by Gauverwaltung Hessen-Nassau, outlines labor front membership rules and ends with the printed signature of Dr. Robert Ley. The second is a civil air defense manual, "Luftschutz ist Selbstbehauptungswille" (3rd Ed.), published by the Reichsluftschutzbund (RLB). It bears the RLB star emblem and includes a quote by Hermann Göring referencing the 1935 Reich Air Defense Law. Both documents exhibit period handling wear, edge water staining with distinct tidemarks, light foxing, and natural paper toning throughout.
