Hensoldt Artillerie 8x24 Military Binoculars

This optical set is manufactured by Hensoldt and features stamping on the upper prism cover plates reading "HENSOLDT" and "ARTILLERIE 8x24." Designed in a military-style configuration, these binoculars measure 4.5 inches high by 5.75 inches wide (11.4 cm x 14.6 cm) and weigh 500 grams (1 lb 2.5 oz). The set is constructed from black-painted brass metal covers with a textured body wrap. The frame exhibits a smooth central hinge pivot movement. Operating the center focus wheel yields a slightly rough action, while the right eyepiece diopter ring shows minor stiffness during adjustment. The lenses remain clear in both channels, though internal light dust spotting is visible. Paint touch-up is noticeable on the barrel ends, lens caps, and frame, with some mild chipping present on the lens caps.
