WWII Carl Zeiss Jena 7x50 British Naval Binocular

Premier WWII-era Carl Zeiss Jena 7x50 binocular set, officially pressed into service by the British Ministry of Supply. The binoculars are marked with the British "Broad Arrow," unit code B.C.N.P. 5, and Sr. 1922, identifying them as German-made optics utilized by Allied forces. These large-format "Night Glasses" were highly sought after by naval officers for their high-aperture design, granting exceptional light-gathering power and clarity. The set is in outstanding technical condition, measuring 17.8 cm H x 20.3 cm W (7.0" H x 8.0" W), with clear internal optics and only negligible spotting. Weight: 1053 g (2 lb 5.1 oz). Mechanically, all adjustments operate smoothly. The binoculars display authentic verdigris oxidation around the bridgeand original British-modified leather uniform tabs, resulting in a noteworthy service patina. Included is the rare Bakelite rain guard and the original E. Leitz Wetzlar cognac leather case, measuring 20.3 cm H x 20.3 cm W (8.0" H x 8.0" W), which remains supple and well-preserved.
