ca. 1820-1850's; Attributed to Philadelphia Filley Tinshop, lighthouse shaped domed lid coffee pot retains original hand painted design of ball flower and fronds. The pot has a gooseneck spout, domed hinged lid with brass knob and mounted braced handle, flange foot and bead rolled accent. The pot is decorated with an asphaltum-japanned ground, white tone floral band above flange, lower garden-type scene of ball flowers with ferns in yellow and leaves in green/yellow. The flange foot has a trailing yellow/green leaf design with lid and collar decorated with yellow/green brush accents; 6 1/4" dia. X 9 1/2" x 10"; Condition: "As found" original surfaces. Retains approx. 85%-90% original surface. The flange foot has some bending under handle.
