ca. 1888-1890; Attributed to Joseph Lehn (1798-1892), Lancaster Co., PA, originally a labeled piece in turned poplar wood, turned as a cylinder vessel with a tight-seated lid with round knob. The saffron jar has blue/black painted collar foot, salmon ground with hand painted pussy willow and applied decal decoration. The lid has similar decoration on salmon ground with blue/black painted knob, green painted collar and red painted collar with pussy willow accent.; 2 1/2" dia. X 5 1/2"; Condition: Good, minor loss to the applied die-cut decals
