Representing the elegant artistry of the pre-World War II era, this 1937 Walking Liberty Half Dollar is a classic 90% silver U.S. coin. It contains approximately .3617 troy ounces of pure silver and carries the timeless design created by Adolph A. Weinman. The obverse depicts Liberty walking confidently toward the rising sun, wrapped in the American flag and carrying branches of laurel and oak. On the reverse, a majestic eagle stands atop a rocky outcrop beneath a prominent oak branch. The Walking Liberty Half Dollar was struck from 1916 through 1947 and remains a favorite among collectors for its beautiful design, historical importance, and silver content.
