A classic 1922 Silver Peace Dollar, one of the most recognizable coins in American numismatics. Struck in 90% silver, this coin contains .7734 troy ounces of pure silver. The obverse features Liberty in a radiant crown, while the reverse displays a perched bald eagle holding an olive branch, symbolizing the peace that followed World War I. Designed by Anthony de Francisci, the Peace Dollar series was introduced in 1921 to commemorate peace after the Great War. The 1922 issue was produced during the early years of the series and remains a popular choice among both silver stackers and coin collectors.
