This 1943-D Walking Liberty Half Dollar was struck at the Denver Mint and features Adolph A. Weinman’s iconic Walking Liberty design. Liberty is shown walking toward the rising sun, carrying branches of laurel and oak, while the reverse depicts a bald eagle perched on a mountain. The Walking Liberty Half Dollar was produced from 1916 through 1947 and is considered one of the most beautiful designs in U.S. coinage. The 1943-D issue was struck during World War II, adding historical significance to an already popular series. 90% Silver • .3617 Troy Oz Silver • 1943-D • Walking Liberty Half Dollar
