This 1938 Walking Liberty Half Dollar features Adolph A. Weinman’s iconic Liberty design, with Liberty walking toward the rising sun while carrying branches of laurel and oak. The reverse depicts a bald eagle perched on a mountain outcrop. The Walking Liberty Half Dollar was first introduced in 1916 and remained in production through 1947. It is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful designs in American coinage, and its obverse artwork was later adapted for the American Silver Eagle. 90% Silver • .3617 Troy Oz Silver • 1938 • Walking Liberty Half Dollar
