This 1917 Walking Liberty Half Dollar features Adolph A. Weinman’s iconic Walking Liberty design, with Liberty wrapped in the American flag and carrying branches of laurel and oak. The reverse depicts a majestic bald eagle perched on a mountain outcrop. First introduced in 1916, the Walking Liberty Half Dollar is widely considered one of the most beautiful designs in American coinage.
