A large mid-century modern dresser featuring a Brutalist aesthetic, constructed from wood with stained veneers showing a prominent grain. The design incorporates a central cupboard door decorated with a deeply carved, geometric relief panel. The unit includes six drawers arranged in two columns of three, constructed with machine-cut dovetail joints and light-coloured solid wood secondary interiors. The drawers are fitted with original cast metal pulls in a dark patinated finish with a textured design. The dresser is topped with a pair of matching tall rectangular mirrors, each featuring a decorative crest with pierced wood fretwork. The central cupboard opens to reveal interior shelving. Condition: The piece is in fair to good vintage condition. There is visible surface wear to the top, including scratches and areas of finish loss. Scuffs and minor abrasions are evident along the edges and the base of the unit. The drawers and cupboard function as intended, with the interiors showing typical signs of age-related use. The mirrors and fretwork crests are free of visible cracks or significant damage.
