Dating to the mid-to-late 20th century(late 1960s) this traditional German/Bavarian lederhosen set is crafted from thick grey-green suede leather trimmed with dark forest green leather piping. Built with classic drop-front flap construction, the shorts feature front slit pockets with red piping accents, a right-side knife pocket, and lace-up side hem details. The detachable suspender straps are fitted with adjustable metal buckles and a wide cross-chest bridge featuring stitched edelweiss motifsand a central carved relief plaque depicting a deer family scene. Presents in honest, pre-owned vintage condition with natural age-appropriate wear. The suede displays widespread surface patination, creasing, and light soil spots consistent with traditional use and handling, while the leather piping, carved chest plaque, and button fasteners remain intact and structurally sound. Measures 11" waist (flat across, adjustable via rear lace) x 13" total length (shorts only). An authentic piece of Alpine folk attire, this lederhosen set offers strong display and thematic appeal for collectors of European regional costumes and Oktoberfest apparel.
