Manufactured by The Londontown Mfg. Co. of Baltimore and retailed expressly for The A.M. Davison Co. of Flint, Michigan, this vintage men's full-length tweed trench coat dates to the late 1960s or 1970s. Constructed of an Orlon acrylic and wool blendknit tweed in a olive green, brown, and black houndstooth pattern laminated to Scott-foam polyurethane, the garment features a full lining, notch collar, three-button front closure with matching green buttons, slash side pockets, and cuffed sleeves.Interior labels include "LONDON Fog weather-wear of distinction / THE LONDONTOWN MFG. CO. BALTIMORE", a fabric composition tag, an ACWA union label, and a retailer tag reading "EXPRESSLY FOR The A.M. Davison Co. FLINT, MICH." Condition appears goodoverall, showing normal light wear, subtle surface fuzzing, and minor fabric creasing consistent with age and gentle use. Shoulder-to-shoulder measures 18", pit-to-pit measures 22", overall length from back collar to hem is 43", and sleeve length is24".
