Vtg 80s Karen Fashions For Forstmann Wool Trench

Dating to the late 1970s, this ladies' cream-colored wrap coat was manufactured in the United States by Karen Fashions using 100% pure wool fabric produced by Forstmann. Constructed with a plush, brushed-wool outer shell and a smooth cream lining, the coat features wide notched lapels, two side seam pockets, an open front, and a matching wrap belt. Interior tags include a "Karen Fashions FABRIC BY FORSTMANN 100% PURE WOOL" label with the Woolmark logo and an ILGWU union label. Condition is fairto good, exhibiting small areas of moth damage/wool loss on the back collar, light surface wear, and minor creasing consistent with age. Shoulder-to-shoulder measures 16, pit-to-pit measures 19.5", overall length is 46.5", and sleeve length is 23.5".
