A collection of silver-plated tablewares of utilitarian, mid-20th-century design. The lot includes a service presented on a rectangular twin-handled tray, comprising a tall cylindrical coffee pot with a black composite finial, a large globular water jug with an ornate cast handle, a lidded sugar bowl with a matching finial, a cream jug, and a beaker with a beaded rim. The collection further includes a twin-handled wine cooler with a pedestal base and a scalloped rim, alongside an additional cream jug and open sugar bowl presented on a small tray with a shaped, scalloped edge. These items are designed in a style consistent with commercial or hotel-ware. There are no visible maker's marks or hallmarks on any of the pieces. Coffee pot height: approx. 23 cm (measured against a ruler) Wine cooler height: approx. 21.5 cm (measured against a ruler). Condition: The collection displays various signs of wear and age, including overall surface scratching, tarnishing, and loss of silver plating to the high points. The interior of the wine cooler shows significant corrosion, pitting, and extensive plating loss. A small dark pit or hole is present on the underside of one of the bases.
