A collection of three hand-painted, glazed bone china figurines produced by Royal Worcester, England, each modeled by artist Freda Doughty. The collection is unified by a color palette of deep plum and maroon glazes. The first figurine portrays a woman in a mid-19th-century style plum-colored dress with a contrasting yellow shawl draped over her shoulders and a matching yellow ribbon in her hair. The second figurine, titled The Parakeet, depicts a boy in a maroon suit with a white ruffled collar and cuffs, holding a gray and yellow bird on his right arm. The third figurine, titled Grandmother's Dress (model 3081), features a girl in a maroon dress with a wide white ruffled collar and matching maroon hat. The underside of the Grandmother's Dress figurine bears a printed black backstamp for Royal Worcester Bone China, Made in England, the title, model number 3081, registration number Rd No 799938, and attribution to F. G. Doughty. A date code indicating production around 1951 is also present within the mark. Dimensions measured against a ruler: Woman height: approx. 8 inches Boy height: approx. 6.25 inches Girl height: approx. 5.5 inches. Condition: The figurines are in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or signs of professional restoration. The glaze and hand-painted details are well-preserved across all three pieces.
