A bulbous copper pitcher produced by Venetian Copper in the Arts and Crafts style. The vessel features a flared neck with a pinched pouring spout and stands upon a slightly flared circular foot. It is fitted with a decorative double-scroll flat handle. The base is stamped with the maker mark Venetian Copper in a script font above the numerals 9275. The interior shows evidence of an oxidised tinned lining. Dimensions: Height approx. 22 cm, Diameter approx. 12 cm (measured against a ruler in inches). Condition: Naturally aged patina with surface scratches and darkening throughout. Several small indentations and dents are present, consistent with age and domestic use. Verdigris is visible on the base and around the handle attachments. The interior lining is heavily worn and oxidised.
