Bob Kane (American, 1915-1998) A dynamic mixed media drawing on paper depicts Batman in a full-figure standing pose, rendered in his iconic blue cape and cowl, grey suit, and black underpants, highlighted with a yellow utility belt and chest emblem. The artwork is signed 'Bob Kane' and dated '1973' in the lower right, with additional text "ORIGINAL" and "Creator of Batman." Unframed. Bob Kane was a renowned American comic book artist and writer, primarily celebrated as the creator of the iconic DC Comics superhero, Batman. While widely credited, Kane later acknowledged the significant contributions of writer Bill Finger to the character's development.
