Charles White (American, 1918-1979) Powerful graphite drawing depicting a restrained male figure rendered with exceptional anatomical precision and dramatic chiaroscuro. The composition emphasizes tension, resilience, and human dignity through expressive musculature, dynamic posture, and symbolic restraint. Signed lower right. Charles White was one of the most influential American figurative artists of the twentieth century.
