Egon Schiele (Austrian, 1890-1918) Ink and watercolor on paper depicting a stylized village landscape with clustered buildings and surrounding greenery. The composition is rendered with expressive, angular linework and loose washes of earthy tones and greens, emphasizing structure and form over detail. The architectural elements appear slightly distorted, a hallmark of Schiele's distinctive approach to space and perspective. Dated lower right.
