This lot features a collection of three antique German baby dolls including Baby Gloria and Armand Marseille models, accompanied by a miniature rocking cradle. The largest doll is a Baby Gloria bisque socket head baby with blue glass sleep eyes, an open mouth with two teeth, and molded hair. It is constructed with a stuffed cloth mama-style body and composition hands, dressed in a period-correct white christening gown and lace-trimmed bonnet. The second doll is an Armand Marseille baby doll with a bisque head and open mouth, featuring a cloth body and composition hands, dressed in a blue corduroy jacket and white eyelet skirt. The third doll is an 8.5 inch German bisque head baby doll with glass eyes and a cloth body, wearing a cream satin gown and knit bonnet. The lot is completed by a yellow-painted wicker rocking cradle with a wood base and floral print bedding. Baby Gloria doll: 14.5 inches Armand Marseille doll: 10 inches Germany marked doll: 8.5 inches. These dolls show expected age-related wear including surface soiling and minor paint loss. The Baby Gloria doll has a functional sleep eye mechanism and typical darkening to the composition hands. The Armand Marseille doll has broken eyes and a precise thread repair at the wrist. The wicker cradle is structurally sound with minor paint scuffing. Bisque heads appear free of cracks or chips.
