This group features five contemporary artist and collectible dolls constructed with bisque or porcelain heads and limbs and soft cloth bodies. The assortment includes a matched pair of Danbury Mint Jennifer Schmidt sailor dolls, known as Meg and Michael, marked 1991 MBI and dressed in pink and blue striped nautical outfits. Also included is a Schmid musical collectible doll dated 1982, featuring a blonde wig and navy blue velvet suit with a rear metal winding key for the internal music box. The lot is further comprised of a Linda Garrapo Sunshine character baby doll dated 1983, dressed in a yellow floral romper with a matching bonnet and a wicker basket accessory. Completing the collection is a Geraldine Scotland doll with a kid face, featuring a red synthetic wig and a blue and green plaid dress with lace trim, marked 370 SS on the reverse of the neck. Height: 7 inches to 14 inches. These dolls show typical wear expected for their age and materials. The Linda Garrapo doll features a fracture to the right porcelain leg near the boot. One sailor doll displays a minor surface smudge on the cheek, and the red-haired doll has slightly untidy hair. The Schmid musical mechanism remains untested.
