1879 Morgan Silver Dollar, struck at the Philadelphia Mint. This is an early issue from the second year of the Morgan Dollar series and a popular classic U.S. silver dollar. Please review the photos for the exact condition, surfaces, strike, and overall appearance. The Morgan Dollar was designed by George T. Morgan and was first introduced in 1878. The obverse features Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap, while the reverse depicts an eagle with outstretched wings holding arrows and an olive branch.
