An attractive early 20th-century oak occasional or side table distinguished by a bold quatrefoil or clover-form top displaying pronounced quarter-sawn figure and warm golden-brown coloration. The shaped top is set above a deep conforming apron with gracefully scalloped lower edges and a pointed central cutout, supported on four dramatically curving splayed legs whose flowing profiles give the otherwise substantial oak construction a light, sculptural appearance. The combination of strongly figured oak, simplified construction, and expressive curved silhouette reflects the Arts & Crafts and transitional decorative vocabulary popular during the opening decades of the 20th century, while the unusual clover-shaped top gives the piece considerably more visual interest than a conventional square or circular parlor table. The underside reveals traditional wood construction with later or replacement hardware visible at the leg attachments. Condition is good overall with age-appropriate surface wear, including scattered scratches, abrasions, edge wear, finish variation, small stains and darkened areas, particularly along the top edge and apron, together with evidence of prior tightening or repair beneath the table; the figured oak remains especially attractive and the table retains a strong decorative presence.Measures 19.5"H x 16"W.
