Large decorative collection of vintage glass lighting components and replacement shades, primarily dating from the Art Deco through mid-20th-century period, comprising an appealing variety of frosted, satin, molded and clear glass forms. The group includes large domed and panel-form ceiling shades, multiple architectural slip shades with molded floral and foliate decoration, shell- and fan-form shades, ribbed cylindrical shades with wire fitter assemblies, several clear molded flower-form shades with brass socket collars, frosted tulip and globe-form shades, a frosted spherical shade with cut floral/star decoration, bell-form shades with raised bead-and-scroll ornament, and a pair of delicate pale pink petal-form shades with metal fitter frames. Several pieces display especially attractive period geometric or stylized botanical motifs characteristic of 1920s-1940s lighting design. The largest molded shade and 5 triangular shaped glass inserts, bears impressed maker’s marks “Muller Freres Luneville,” Offered as a large mixed restoration and replacement group; condition varies throughout with age-related surface wear, soiling, oxidation and wear to metal fittings, scattered edge nicks and chips, and at least one larger shade showing noticeable losses/chipping along the rim, as photographed. An excellent assemblage for restoration of antique chandeliers, sconces and ceiling fixtures or for dealers and collectors of period lighting glass. Measure 2 - 3.25"H x 4"W, 2-4.5"H x 4"W, 4-4.25"H x 3.75"W, 5-3"H x 5"W, 1-4.5"H x 4"W, 1-&"H x 4"W, 5 triangular shaped-5.5"H x 9.5"W, 8- petal shaped- 9.5"H x 6.75"W and large dome "Mueller Freres" is 4"H x 14"W.
