Vintage McLaughlin’s Manor House Coffee clear glass advertising jar, retaining its red-painted metal screw lid and embossed underside lettering reading “McLAUGHLIN’S / MANOR / HOUSE / COFFEE.” The substantial cylindrical jar features molded vertical ribbing around the lower body, scattered blue floral decoration, and a red-painted lower panel. The jar is filled with an assorted collection of natural cork bottle stoppers in numerous sizes and forms, giving the piece added decorative and collecting interest. The glass remains intact in the photographs with expected surface wear and age-related scratches; the red-painted areas and lid exhibit considerable paint loss, flaking, scuffing, and oxidation, while the corks display varying degrees of staining, darkening, cracking, and wear consistent with age and use. Measures 8.5"H x 6.5"W.
