A charming, early 20th-century German fine earthenware (Feinsteingut) kitchen canister and spice lot manufactured by Max Roesler in Rodach, Bavaria. The set features a classic blue-and-white Delft-style transferware pattern depicting Dutch windmills, cottages, and landscapes, accented by bold, black-lettered stenciled labels. The pieces included in this lot are a large "COFFEE" canister with its lid, a medium "TEA" canister with its lid, an "OIL" cruet bottle with its matching stopper, and four spice canisters ("CINNAMON", "GINGER", "NUTMEC" [sic], and "CLOVES") with their respective lids. The bottom of the canisters features the green underglaze Max Roesler stamp, which displays a capital letter "M" enclosed in a stylized wild rose within a shield, marked "Made in Germany." This specific mark dates the manufacture of this set to circa 1910s–1930s. Additional impressed model and size numbers, such as "6", are present on the undersides of the pottery. The set is in overall good vintage/antique condition, showing typical wear consistent with age and domestic use. One of the larger canisters (Coffee) exhibits a clean, vertical hairline glaze crack running down the back/side panel. There is minor "flea bite" chipping to the pointed handles of the Ginger and Cinnamon lids, and the Oil bottle stopper has a small chip on its lower unglazed rim. The glaze shows light, age-appropriate crazing and minor discoloration or staining, particularly along the unglazed base rims and inner lids. 4 smallest jars measure 4.75"H x 2"W x 1.75"D and Tea and coffee jars are 8"H x 4"W x 3"D and the oil jar is 9.5"H x 3"W x 3"D.
