A five-piece Royal Crown Derby bone china serving group in the classic Blue Mikado pattern, each richly decorated in cobalt blue with elaborate Chinoiserie landscapes of figures, pavilions, trees, waterways, rocky formations, and dense foliage, finished with gilt accents along the edges. The group comprises a large oval serving platter, a three-section clover-form serving dish with central floral-form gilt handle, a shaped leaf-form serving dish with pierced and gilt-accented handle, a small creamer, and a small open bowl. Undersides bear Royal Crown Derby factory marks including “Made in England” and “Bone China.” Blue Mikado was produced in an extensive range of dinner and serving forms, including platters, serving dishes, bowls, and condiment pieces. Condition appears generally good with light surface wear, scattered discoloration, and some rubbing or loss to the gilt decoration consistent with age and use. The creamer measures 3"H, the small bowl is 2" x4", the 2 trinket bowls are 1"H x 4"W x 3"D, the divided dish is 2"H x 7"W, the footed bowl is 1.5"H x 8"W x 9"D and the platter is 15.5"W x 12.5"D.
