AVAILABLE for SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > Attributed to Murano, Italy, circa 1950s, this hand-blown miniature art glass vase stands 3.5" tall and measures approximately 2.75" x 1.5" overall across the shoulder. The flattened, rounded body rises into a narrow neck with a broadly flared mouth, creating a compact sculptural form with a distinct Art Deco Revival character. Fashioned primarily in clear glass, the vase incorporates loosely feathered white inclusions and continuous blue iridescent trails spiraling around the body from the base through the neck. Depending upon the direction and intensity of the light, the blue decoration shifts through purple, violet, green and occasional rainbow tones. The irregular placement of the colored trails and feathered inclusions creates a deliberately random, one-of-a-kind pattern rather than a repeated design. The spiral construction remains visible across the underside, where the gathered glass forms a pronounced central swirl. The mouth is finished with a polished, sharply defined rim. The vase is unmarked; the Murano attribution is based upon the form, color treatment and Italian decorative glassworking tradition.
