A Bowling’s Last Stand Model 10XTS heavy duty Christmas tree stand with a 10" inside bowl diameter and three fixed steel feet extending approximately 15" from the outer bowl. Weighing approximately 30 pounds, the stand was engineered to support a live Christmas tree measuring up to 12 feet tall while holding approximately 2.25 gallons of water. The exceptionally substantial construction combines a deep red painted steel reservoir with three broad stabilizing legs, a center positioning bolt, and three large T handle screws for securing and straightening the tree trunk. The wide stance and considerable weight provide far greater stability than conventional lightweight seasonal tree stands, making this model particularly useful for large residential, commercial, church, hotel, lodge, or public display trees. The manufacturer’s label identifies ~ BOWLING’S LAST STAND ~ BOWLING ENTERPRISES ~ BEAR LAKE, MICHIGAN ~ and references the patented American design. Bowling Enterprises began producing these stands in Michigan during the late 1980s, developing a premium steel stand intended for many years of repeated holiday use.
