NO SHIPPING ~ LOCAL PICKUP ONLY > A high quality vintage Traditional Revival wall mirror measuring approximately 18 1/2" wide by 42" tall overall, constructed with a substantial reddish brown mahogany frame, shaped beveled mirror glass, and hanging wire fitted to the reverse. The frame presents a tall arched keyhole or Moroccan arch profile, formed by a soft continuous ogee curve rising through inward stepped shoulders to a rounded crest. Multiple stepped moldings follow the shaped outline, while a convex outer face, recessed channels, and fine line molding create architectural depth without carved ornament. The silhouette draws from English William and Mary and Queen Anne looking glass forms, interpreted through the cleaner Traditional and Transitional Revival styling popular during the mid to late 20th century. The softened arch and smooth transition from the stepped shoulders distinguish the form from the sharper, higher bonnet crests commonly associated with formal Chippendale and Queen Anne furniture reproductions. High quality American furniture makers during the 1970s through the 1990s frequently produced similar benchmade accent mirrors in premium mahogany, walnut, and cherry, including firms such as Harden, Council Craftsmen, and Henkel Harris. No label, stamp, or documented provenance has been located on this example, so those names provide market and production context rather than a maker attribution. The beveled glass follows the complete shaped opening, adding reflected light and dimensional definition around the perimeter. The tall narrow proportions suit an entry hall, bedroom, dressing area, powder room, stair landing, or placement above a console, chest, or small cabinet.
