AVAILABLE for SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > A vintage Aries zodiac medallion charm measuring 7/8" in diameter, not including the suspension loop, cast in bronze tone metal with raised relief details. The circular medallion depicts a ram in profile beneath the raised Aries zodiac glyph, surrounded by a border of stars and a textured recessed background. The ram is the traditional symbol of Aries, the first sign of the Western zodiac, associated with birthdays from approximately March 21 through April 19. The compact medallion form, antiqued bronze appearance, textured field, and sculptural relief reflect the renewed popularity of astrological and zodiac jewelry during the mid to late 20th century, particularly the 1960s and 1970s. Zodiac pendants of this period were produced in bronze, brass, copper, silver, and gold tone finishes as personalized necklace charms and keepsake gifts. The reverse is plain, with no maker’s mark or metal content designation observed.
