MONI COUTURE Art Deco BEAD & SEQUIN CLUTCH PURSE

AVAILABLE for SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > A Moni Couture structured evening clutch measuring 11" long × 4" tall overall, lavishly embellished with seed beads and layered sequins in copper, bronze, gold, olive, iridescent peach, and silver, accompanied by a removable 12" silver tone chain strap. The elongated frame silhouette, polished kiss lock closure, and densely worked surface reflect the tradition of formal cocktail and evening bags. Sweeping paisley forms, concentric spirals, scalloped bands, and sharply defined geometric passages create an Art Deco revival appearance, while the rich metallic palette gives the design dramatic dimension and movement under light. Rows of overlapping sequins are outlined and accented with coordinating seed bead embroidery, creating a richly textured statement accessory suited to evening wear, cocktail attire, weddings, holiday dressing, and other formal occasions. The removable chain allows the bag to be carried as either a handheld clutch or short strap evening purse. The brown fabric lined interior includes a stitched slip pocket and carries a black label reading MONI ~ COUTURE, with an adjacent MADE IN CHINA tag. Moni Couture appears to have been a specialty fashion accessory label focused on richly embellished evening and occasion handbags, particularly beaded, sequined, tapestry, satin, and jeweled designs marketed during the late 20th and early 21st centuries. This example likely dates from the late 1990s to early 2000s, when ornate metallic embellishment and compact framed evening bags were prominent in formal and Y2K fashion.
