AVAILABLE for SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > Offered as a two piece grouping of decorative aluminum rabbit trivets, including one signed and dated ARTHUR COURT example and one larger openwork example bearing a MADE IN MEXICO label. The rectangular Mexican trivet measures approximately 11.25" x 7.75" and rests upon short raised feet fitted with protective rubber tips. Deeply modeled openwork presents a large rabbit surrounded by three smaller rabbits among overlapping leaves, creating a lively woodland family scene within a rounded rectangular border. The polished silver tone surface and pierced construction allow the piece to serve as both a functional hot dish rest and decorative kitchen or springtime display. The round Arthur Court trivet measures approximately 8" in diameter and stands upon three metal feet. Two rabbits appear nestled among deeply sculpted blossoms, leaves and flowing openwork stems. The underside bears the embossed ARTHUR COURT COPYRIGHT 1995 mark. Arthur Court Designs became recognized for sculptural aluminum tableware inspired by wildlife, plants and natural forms. Company pieces are individually cast and hand finished, giving the detailed surfaces the character of decorative sculpture while remaining practical for entertaining and tabletop use.
