NO SHIPPING ~ LOCAL PICKUP ONLY > A notably well preserved all iron wall mounted basket planter measuring 22" tall, 18" wide and extending 12" outward from the wall. The projecting half round basket features an open wire framework designed to receive a fitted liner for soil and planted arrangements. The design incorporates a broad arched handle with a tightly wrapped central grip, layered spiral coils at each side and repeating looped ironwork surrounding the planting basket. Smaller symmetrical scrolls decorate the wall bracket, contributing a refined European garden character while providing secure support against the mounting surface. Traditionally, open iron planting baskets are lined with sphagnum moss, sheet moss or molded coconut coir before being filled with soil. The liner retains the planting medium while allowing drainage and air circulation, making the form especially suitable for trailing ivy, ferns, begonias, petunias, impatiens and other cascading seasonal plants. Suitable for mounting along a porch, courtyard, garden wall, exterior passage or sheltered patio, the sculptural basket complements English Country, Cottagecore, French Country, Grandmillennial and Traditional Garden settings. CONDITION REPORT > Expect typical surface elements relative to age, use, materials and outdoor exposure over the years. Overall, a notably well preserved and substantial example.
